Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Women's Book Club
It began with one phone call. In March 2014, Mrs. Louise Tuggle, a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lafayette, GA called Minister Joyce about an idea for the upcoming annual women's day which occurs every September. She asked Minister Joyce to lead a few meetings with the women of Mount Zion for open discussion and sharing on Joyce Meyer's, Battlefield of the Mind. Mrs. Tuggle's idea caught fire and crescendo-ed into a thunderous God-breathed ministry known as The Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Women's Book Club. What started with a phone call and a handful of meetings in 2014 has now grown into a burgeoning local and online ministry reaching thousands of women and men around the world. The book club encourages the study of God's Word, fellowship, spiritual maturity and increased intimacy with God. As a result, friendships have blossomed and our sisterhood in Christ has strengthened. We foster a transparent environment filled with grace, support and love. We join in corporate prayer petitioning each others' requests to the Lord and we joyfully celebrate each others' reports of praise. The book club meets every first Wednesday of the month. To date, we have studied Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyers, The Frazzled Female by Cindi Wood, Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge and Breathe and The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer and most recently I Had To Change by Charlotte Lewis. We would love for you to join us for our book club sessions if you are ever in our area. Thank you!

Mt. Zion's Book Club Healing for Damaged Emotions Workbook Foundation Verse
"In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God." Romans 8:26-27
